Ministerial reshuffle: Marie Odile ATTANASSO gives service to Éléonore YAYI LADEKAN at MESRS

Three and a half years of hard work to improve the quality of Higher Education and the profitability of Scientific Research, Marie Odile ATTANASSO gives her chair to Eleonore YAYI LADEKAN.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is officially changing hands. Mrs Éléonore YAYI wife LADEKAN took the reins of this ministerial department from the hands of Mrs Marie Odile ATTANASSO this friday September 6th 2019.

Appointed on April 6, 2016, thanks to the formation of the first “New Beginning” government, Marie Odile ATTANASSO successfully led numerous reforms in the sub-sectors of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

After 3 years and a half of hard work to improve the quality of Higher Education and the profitability of the Scientific Research, Marie Odile ATTANASSO gives her chair to Eleonore YAYI LADEKAN who is also not novice in the university environment.

Professor at the University of Abomey-Calavi, she held until her appointment the position of 3rd Vice Rector in charge of international cooperation, partnerships and professional integration. Under the deceased regime, she was appointed Director of Cous-UAC, a sectoral directorate of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Former Minister of Maternal and Primary Teaching under Boni YAYI, she returns for the second time to the government to serve the vision of President Patrice TALON and continue to hint, the many projects already started by his predecessor.
